Camping trailer, Tent trailer, Teardrop trailer and T@B Trailer Remote Voltmeter for iPad or iPhone

I regularly restore cars and work on troubleshooting vehicle electrical issues. Often times I get the call after everybody else has given up and on several obscure cars I have worked on, there have been no schematics of the cars' wiring harnesses. Of the cars I have built or restored several have been sold at the Barrett-Jackson auctions. I stumbled onto the RedFish Instruments IDVM multi-meter app and hardware unit while looking at remote display voltmeters. I downloaded the demo app and installed it on my iPad 2. It basically looked like the readout I had on my multi-meters in my toolbox but there was one big difference – If I bought the hardware piece it gave the promise of truly remote multi-meter use. No more 10-15 foot wires used to extend my multi-meter leads to the back of a car while I was working under the dash or under the car. I normally pay about $30-$40 for a decent digital multi-meter so why would I pay over $200 for a digital multi-meter? After buying the unit I had a lot of buyer's remorse before the unit even arrived. It showed up in a couple of days and Wow – what a surprise. I hooked it up and followed a few network configuration settings on the iPad and suddenly I was reading voltage on a battery sitting 15-20 feet away. A strange grin came over my face as I realized just how cool and useful this device and software are.
